Class of 2012 Model Program
Steve Ray Photography has initiated the Senior Model Program, open to the class of 2012. This program offers students an opportunity to get the best quality professional senior portraits that are creative and unique, from one of the premier photography studios in the area. Following the success of last year's Senior Model Program, we expanded the program to include more incentives and opportunities. This is open to anyone graduating in 2012 (Guys are welcome too!)
What Do I Get As A Senior Model?
As a Senior Model, some of the things that you can earn are: limo service to the prom for you and your friends, an iPod Touch, a laptop computer, gift certificates for top stores and a senior portrait print package.
You get a free model photo session in addition to your Senior session, Senior Model representative cards personalized with your image, digital images of your latest session for your Facebook page, an exclusive t-shirt designating you as an official model and a generous discount on your senior portrait print package. Additionally, your images may be used in our marketing campaigns online and in print. Your face could be seen on our website, blog, and Facebook page. Your senior photo session will be fun and exciting, and you will receive the most awesome portraits in your school. You WILL BE the envy of your friends.
What Are My Responsibilities As A Senior Model?
When you are accepted into the Senior Model Program it would be your job to tell your family, relatives, and friends all about Steve Ray Photography. Maybe you know fellow students who want awesome senior portraits, or someone who also wants to join the Senior Model Program. Perhaps you know someone who is getting married and needs a wedding photographer. There are lots of possible reasons to use our services and products. If a new customer hands us your rep card, we will give them a great deal on their purchase and you will earn referral credit. If you accumulate enough credits, you can earn your senior portrait print package to accompany the already free model portrait photo session that you got just for joining the program.
We work hard to create and maintain a great program to help our local students get fabulous photography before finishing their senior year. In return, we expect our Senior Models to work hard for us, too. Portrait Tips - Seniors, here is the scoop!
Clothing:
Bring a variety of outfits that fit the real you. Avoid the following: Clothing that are too tight or extremely loose fitting; Clothes with words, stripes, and loud patterns. Dress from head-to-toe and don't forget to bring accessories! But it is most important to have fun with your outfits!
Hair:
Style your hair in a way that best represents YOU! If you plan on getting a haircut, try to schedule it a couple of weeks out so that you have time to manage any dislikes. Keep in mind that a cut may reveal untanned skin during the summer. We also recomment the use of hairspray to tame loose ends that may catch light and reflect in a portrait.
Makeup:
Make-up should be worn no heavier than you would for an evening out. Even if you don't normally wear make-up, we suggest a light foundation or powder to reduce the shine and even-out skin tones. Powder is great for even guys to use, and yes we promise no one will ever be able to tell you're wearing it! Heavier make-up applied near the end of your portrait session is fun for a dramatic black & white.
Grooming:
Trim, file, and remove old polish from your nails. Lather on lotion to avoid dry looking, patchy skin.
Glasses:
To avoid a reflective glare from your eyeglasses, opt to wear contact lenses instead or ask your optometrist about borrowing an empty pair of frames that match your style.
Bring a friend:
Bring a friend to make the experience more fun. They can help with your stuff, make sure you look your best and even jump in some of your images!
The most important thing is that you have FUN!
